Shanty Creek Retreat!

The condo and resort were absolutely wonderful and exactly as described. It had all the essentials and then some. The location was ideal and included a pass to a private beach that we all enjoyed. There was a binder that included lots of great recommendations. This would have been a five star review for us except for the abrasive interactions with the owner/property manager at 10:00pm on Friday night due to an error on their part. Our dog was a part of the reservation, and we had paid the pet fee. If they had apologized for their error and poor communication with the same intensively that they scolded us for, again it could have been overlooked, and we could have moved on, but being threatened to be asked to leave because of an error they made was really rude and an unnecessary way to communicate.

The unit is very nice and comfortable. Looks like new kitchen and bathrooms. Kitchen is very well equipped. Beds are super comfortable. Unit is close to the pool and the resort’s restaurant. Would definitely come back.

this condo is newly renovated, had all the accommodations for a perfect stay from the shampoo and conditioner, new towels, great mattresses even the coffee filters. the resort is beautiful and peaceful. We played tennis and watched the fireworks on July 3rd, which was a fantastic display! spent most of our time at the family cottage on Lake Intermediate, but this condo was a perfect retreat, with nice bathrooms to freshen up and crash at night!
